News: Software Satisfaction Awards open for entries

Sift Media is proud to announce the launch of the 4th edition of the Software Satisfaction Awards 2009.  Entries are being accepted for these prestigious awards from now until 31 March 2009.

The Awards Dinner, taking place on Thursday 8 October 2009 at The Royal Courts of Justice in London, will again bring together the indisputable leading vendors of the software market to recognise and celebrate excellence in the business software industry.

The main awards are, as in previous years, based on primary research amongst genuine buyers and end-users of business software applications. Participants in the survey are asked to rate their business software products on four key attributes: ease of use; functionality; reliability; and value for money. Voting by end users will take place  for the whole of May and June with the shortlist to be announced on 15 July 2009.

In 2008, a total of 5,967 respondents took part in the survey - a figure we aim to better in 2009. This year also sees the addition of three special awards, judged by a panel of recognised and respected industry commentators.
