Rita Andrews, Head of Events

Rita has worked in events management for the last 15 years; with an impressive list of high-profile projects across the world, including organising visits from foreign heads of state to the UK, Royal Family official visits abroad, events at the Labour and Conservative annual conferences, and for The British Council. She was heavily involved in the inception of the IPTV World series of events, which comprised B2B events across the world, attracting total audiences of over 200,000 people, plus 400 exhibitors and seven parallel conference streams with over 2,000 delegates in attendance.

Rita joined Sift in 2009 and has quickly become an integral part of the operation, revitalising Sift Media's events unit. Sift Media now has a diverse range of events including Business Cloud Summit, The Business Factory, Software satisfaction Awards, Training Zone Live and E-Government Awards; aligning Sift's online communities to high profile offline events.
