Joe Vallender, Head of Technology

Joe's team is responsible for software development and delivery of day to day sales, marketing and events campaigns. Since joining Sift in 2004 Joe has worked in community management, production and ad trafficking roles working on high profile campaigns for the likes of Microsoft and IBM before becoming responsible for all development tasks. Joe’s core skill set is PHP, MySQL, xHTML, CSS and JavaScript but he also works in ASP, web design, print design, Flash and audio and has an interest in various other languages.

Joe is a fan of open source software and out of work enjoys producing electronic music, cooking (and eating) and keeping fit.
