Darren Falkingham, Head of Ecommerce

After four years overseeing Sift Media's marketing function, in January 2011 Darren established Sift Media's ecommerce business, delivering a range of products and services tailored to the needs of our B2B audiences, creating a marketplace to connect suppliers and business consumers. Darren's background at Sift Media included directing marketing communications, audience development, brand strategy, community management, research and commercial partnerships. His history also includes managing corporate communications, strategic market research, launching industry seminars and lead generation strategies.

Darren joined Sift in January 2005, as marketing manager for SiftGroups, before moving to Sift Media, the company's publishing division, as Head of Marketing in November 2006. Darren was instrumental in Sift Media's acquisition of UK Business Forums and the launch of Sift Media's analyst division, K2 Advisory. He was a judge in the Association of Online Publishers awards in 2009 and 2010. Darren has also led the development of the Software Satisfaction Awards, which in 2009 included one of the largest pieces of business opinion research in the UK, with over 8,100 business software users taking part.
